4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

• Morning: Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet your guide and enjoy a brief city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda's history.
• Afternoon: Drive to Volcanoes National Park (approximately 2.5–3 hours). Enjoy scenic views of the rolling hills and rural landscapes.
• Evening: Check in at your lodge near the park. Relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

• Morning: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and etiquette. You’ll be assigned to a gorilla family group and a guide.
• Trekking: Begin your trek through the dense rainforest. The duration can vary from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing and photographing these majestic creatures.

Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure

• Morning: After breakfast, drive back to Kigali. If time permits, visit local markets or craft shops for souvenirs.
• Afternoon: Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
